Day 1

Gangtok

Arrival At Airport (IXB) / Railway Station (NJP) And Transfer To Gangtok:- (Duration: 4 ½ hours Approx) (Distance: 120 kms) Arrive & Meet Our Official Representative At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB)– He will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok - And is the most visited spot of India– Check into hotel –- Over Night stay at Gangtok.

Gangtok sightseeing Morning breakfast - After breakfast drive for the city tour of Gangtok – which includes Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok&Tashi View Point, Later visit Research Institute of TibetologyEnchey Monastery, (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Do-DrulChorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Flower Show and JhakriFalls.Etc – Back to hotel – Over Night stay at Gangtok

Excursion ToTsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir:- Morning breakfast at hotel – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir nearly 40 kilometers - The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep - Generally covered in snow for most of the year – This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds – Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all -Back to Gangtok - Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center - Over Night stay at Gangtok (In case of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided).

Darjeeling

Gangtok to Darjeeling transfer After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling - This was the Summer capital of the East India Company –lies the land of breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens with spectacular views of the Mount Everest is the Queen of the hills - Check into hotel –- Over Night stay at Darjeeling.

Darjeeling Local Sight-Seeing& Departure:- After Breakfast take a local tour which includes OldGhoom Monastery and Batasia Loop at an altitude of 140ft. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Zoological Park(Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tibetan Self Help Refugee Center, Tenzing Rock, Japanese Temple, Happy Valley Tea Estate(Outside view), etc. This tour will take about 4 hours.

Rescheduling Procedure: • If any booking needed to reschedule Annapurna Holidays is pleased to support any type of help regarding such an issue. But, rescheduling is possible subject to the availability of space on date seasonal tariff will be applicable on that particular date & period. • In case of cancellation of the reservation, cancellation charges plus taxes (if any) may apply according to the cancellation procedure. Cancellation Procedure: • Booking canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in date & time will carry 25% of the total cost as retention charges. • If the booking is canceled in-between period of 15 days to 30 days prior to check-in date & time, it will carry 40% of the total cost as retention charges. • If the booking is canceled in-between period of 5 days to 14 days prior to check-in time & date, it will carry 50% of the cost as retention charges. • If the booking is canceled less than 5 days prior to check-in date & time or in case of NO-SHOW, it will carry 100% of the total cost as retention charges. Refund Procedure: • The refund amount will be paid to the SOURCE through which the Booker has booked. Any type of refund will take to process at least 15 working days • If booked travel arrangements are hampered due to unavoidable circumstances like natural disasters or political issues etc. which are beyond the control of Annapurna Holidays, but, the tour has been already commenced, NO REFUND will be entertained in that case.
