Day 1

LEH

After a wonderful view of the Glacier on the way to Ladakh you will be arrived at Kushok Bakula airport in Leh (situated at a height of 3,500 meters), you will be transferred to your Guest House (3-4 kilometers from airport). Our representative will hand over all your tour related documents and will give you a brief about the tour. During the day, acclimatize yourself with the weather and high pressure of Ladakh, After Lunch, if health permit you, you will be taken to Shanti Stupa, Namgyal Tsemo Monastery, Leh Palace and Leh Main Market. Leh-Palace - Located on the top of the deserted Tsemo Hill, Leh palace is also known as Lhachen Palkhar. The former palace of the royal family of Leh, it was erected in the 17th century. The place was one of the tallest structures with 9 storyes during its heydays. Today, it is one of the most popular attractions in Leh. From the top, the views of Stok Kangri, Ladakh mountain ranges and the town are simply breathtaking. Slightly ruined in condition, the palace is now managed by the Archaeological Survey of India’ (ASI). The Shanti Stupa is white-colored domed-shaped structure, located in Chandspa which looks extremely  beautiful during night when it is illuminated. This peace pillar was built a ‘peace sect’  of  Japanese Buddhist organization to celebrate the completion of 2500 years of Buddhism and for the promotion of world peace. The Stupa that offers beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Leh Main Market is biggest market of Leh Ladakh, Here you will do shopping for woolen cloths and local handicraft items and also you should try some local cuisine. Stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2

Leh

Today after the breakfast we will provide you a Bikes and we proceed towards a full day Tour to Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam, Spituk Monastery The Sangam is the place called Nimu where the Zanskar River and Indus rivers merge At Sangam you can enjoy the view of confluence of two river (Indus& Zanskar River). Hall of Fame is a must visit for every patriotic Indian. It has been built by Indian army in memory of soldiers who lost their lives in Kargil war. Gurudwara Patthar Sahib located at a distance of 40 kms from Leh, was constructed in 1571, in memory of Guru Nanak to commemorate his visit to this region. Magnetic Hill is the place where you will see your car, with its engine turned off, move upwards on a steep slope. It almost sounds unbelievable.Spituk Monastery, built during the 11th century, also Pethup Gompa, was founded by Od-de, the elder brother of Lha Lama Changchub. Today, it is home to 100 monks as well as a giant statue of goddess Kali, which is shown to the public during the yearly Spituk festival. Although founded in the form of a Red Hat institution, it was taken over by the Yellow Hat sect during the 15th century. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3

Nubra

Early morning, leave on road to Nubra Valley via Khardongla Pass which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and considered as the highest motorable pass of the world and it is the perfect spot to capture the Mother Nature. In the afternoon, after having your lunch at some restaurant in Nubra Valley and Check in Guest House. Nubra has acquired fame for its sand dunes, the cold desert that surrounds it, Bactrian camels and its breath-taking natural beauty. Bactrian camels are another attraction. Native to the steppes of central Asia, the Bactrian camel has two humps, in contrast to the single-humped camels found in Rajasthan and other parts of India. The Bactrian camels were the main mode of transport when Ladakh was an important stopover on the Ancient trade routes with Central Asia. Evening enjoy the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel.

Day 4

TURTUK

Nubra to Turtuk and back to Hunder | Last Village | Zero Point | Pakistan Border | Royal Heritage Museum |Today morning after breakfast we drive to turtuk village. Turtuk is a village of in the Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir It is located in the Nubra valleyl, 80km from the Hunder , on the banks of the Shyok River. Turtuk was under Pakistan's control until 1971, after which India gained control of this strategic area. Geographically, Turtuk lies in the Baltistan Region and is one among four such villages in India, the other three being Tyakshi, Chalunkha and Thang. It is predominantly a Muslim village, and residents speak languages including Balti, Ladakhi and Urdu. Turtuk is the last outpost in India after which the Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins. Turtuk is one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier. In the evening After visiting turtuk village we are drive back to Hunder village (Nubra) .Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 5

PANGONG

Today after your breakfast you will visit the Disket Monastery. After that start your day tour of Pangong Lake via Shayok is scheduled for the itinerary. In the afternoon, you will drive back to leh via changla Pass.On the way we can visit: (Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace & Rancho School on a way back to leh A huge statue of Buddha on top of it, the Diskit monastery is situated in the Nubra valley of Ladakh. Also known as Diskit Gompa, the Buddhist center is one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Leh Ladakh. The Diskit monastery was founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo in the 14th century, and at present stands atop a hill above the plains of Shayok river. The prime attraction of the Diskit monastery is 100 foot high Maitreya Buddha statue, which was inaugurated by the holy Dalai Lama. From the top of the Gompa, where the divine statue is settled, one can have a panoramic view of the Nubra valley. The Pangong Lake is around 135 kilometers away from Leh and situated at an elevation of 4,400 meters. En route, cross Chang la pass and drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh.In the afternoon, explore the lake and its surroundings. Experience the Hypnotic & Picturesque Beauty of Pangong Tso Lake.. Overnight at Camps.

Day 6

LEH

Early morning breakfast, you will drive back to leh via Changla Pass.On the way we can visit: Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace & Rancho School. Shey Monastery –Shay Palace is situated approx 15km sout upstream from Leh and was built in 1650. It has a largest Changchup Chorten - Victory Stupa in Ladakh. The top of it is made of pure gold. Stupa is dome shaped building erected as a Buddhist Shrine and they are seen all over Ladakh. It has also a beautiful view as you reach to the top of the palace. Thiksey Gompa : was built some 600 years ago and consists of 12 levels ascending a hillside, culminating in an Incarnate Lama's private apartments at the summit. The gompa contains 10 temples; below the monastery itself are chapels and "houses" of monks stretching down the hillside. There are about 100 monks of the yellow-hat sect of Buddhism living here. After entering the main courtyard, to the immediate right and up several steps is a new temple containing a large Buddha statue. This Buddha, 15 meters tall was constructed in 1970 to commemorate a visit to Thiksey by the Dalai Lama. The statue is the largest Buddha figure in Ladakh and took four years to construct. Rancho School (Druk Padma Karpo School) :- This school became famous after the Aamir Khan's movie Three Idiots. The name of this school is Druk Padma Karpo School , this is also known as Druk White Lotus school. The clean and eco friendly structures of the school is designed to withstand seismic disturbances. This school was conferred on of the most beautiful schools in the world by BBC London in the year 2016. Overnight at Hotel

DEPARTURE

In the morning, you'll be escorted to Kushok Bakula airport to catch flight for onward destination with sweet memories of Ladakh to cherish throughout life
